Leave Wakefield on the A638, following the signs for Dewsbury. You will pass over the M1 motorway, continue on the A638 dual-carriageway. Once in Dewsbury follow the signs for Heckmondwike, this will take you under some railway arches, continuing on the A638. After about 3 miles you will travel down a long hill, at the foot is a set of traffic lights, and a small market place with a clock tower facing you.
